FAMILY REUNION
The annual reunion of the ELDREDGE family will beheld at Canadice lake to-day. The descendants of the ELDREDGE family live in Naples, Middlesex, Livonia and neighboring towns. It is expected that about 100 will attend, including several from this city.

PARSONS - At her home near Rushville, Jan 21, 1914, Mrs. Eveline PARSONS, aged 78 years. She was a life long resident of the town of Middlesex. Her husband, George PARSONS died Sept. 21, 1913, and she has since lived with her son, Charles, caring for his two little daughters, Dorothy and Leona. She leaves three sons, Charles, at home; Frank,of Potter and Thomas, of Naples; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine KELSEY of Waterbury, Conn.; Mrs. Martin WALTERS and Mrs. Alonzo COOPER of Middlesex; and four grand-daughters.

HUNTER - In Rushville, Jan 23, 1914, Mrs. Mary Read HUNTER, aged 76 years. Mrs. HUNTER had been in feeble health for several months, but death was due to a stroke of apoplexy which she sustained Wednesday night. She was 76 years old and was born in Italy Hollow, the daughter of Truman and Sally Brown READ. She leaves her husband, George HUNTER; three daughters, Huldah and Minnie at home; Caroline, who teaches in New York; and one son, Oliver, of Rushville; a half brother, ex-County Clerk, Henry T. READ, of Penn Yan

HUNTER - In Ithaca, Jan 21, 1914, Mrs. Eliza HUNTER, formerly of Penn Yan, aged 89 years. The body was brought to Penn Yan for burial. Mrs. HUNTER leaves three daughters, Mrs. Cora HUSON, of Elmira; Mrs. Mary MILLER of Ithaca; and Leah HAYES of Penn Yan.

MIDDLESEX- January 21, 1952.

. Wilfred Kennedy recently purchased the former A. K. Slack garage and electric welding shop, which he will use in connection with his garage for storage and some work on trucks. Mr. Slack discontinued his business there, during the mid-summer of 1950, to become employed by the S. C. Emerson Produce Company, Inc.

. Donald Payne moved last week to the "Moshier home," in West Avenue, now owned by Hilman Underwood. The house vacated by Mr. Payne was recently purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Monagle, who now occupy it with their family. Mr. Payne, an expert in the poultry and egg business, will be employed by the Emerson company.

. R. J. Armitage, who was confined to his home last week with a virus infection, returned to his duties in Geneva on Monday.

. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Underwood will close their home in this village on Friday, and leave for New York, where Mrs. Underwood and their three children will leave from LaGuardia Field for a visit of several weeks with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. T. F. Minford, in Randalstown, Northern Ireland. During Mrs. Underwood's absence, Mr. Underwood will pursue a course of study in Hartford, Conn., for instruction as a life insurance representative. Upon completing his course, he will he located in Rochester where he will be associated with the main office staff of the Travelers' Insurance Company. We are sorry to lose Mr. and Mrs. Underwood and their family, who have become nicely established in our village, but we are pleased that he has received this fine promotion.

The insurance, for which Mr. Underwood has been the representative in Middlesex, will be taken over by John Gibbon, of Potter, who is taking a course of study in Hartford in preparation for this work; we wish him success in his new field of endeavor.

Frank J. Rath - RUSHVILLE -Funeral services for Frank J. Rath, 68 of Rushville RD, who died Thursday at the home of his son, Frank, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ness Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Overackers Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ness Funeral chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. today.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian of Rochester; two sons, Frank of Rushville and George of Washington; four sisters, Mrs. Catherine Sturwald of Fairport, Mrs. Florence Little of Kendall, Mrs. Elizabeth Wheat of Canandaigua and Mrs. Marian Webster of Canandaigua; two half-brothers, Andrew and Harry Saulphine of Rushville; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
