Martin Mahan - Penn Yan. Oct. 17.— Martin Mahan of this village, died at the Hatmaker Private Hospital Friday evening at 10 o'clock, aged 68 years. He was a veteran of the Civil war. He leaves one sister, Margaret Mahan, of Penn Yan, and two brothers, William, of Geneva, and Stephen, of Penn Yan. The funeral will be held on Monday morning at 9:30 from the residence of his sister, Margaret Mohan, in Cornwell street, with burial in St. Michael's cemetery.

Magee - In Penn Yan, March 20, 1922, John Magee, aged 84 years. He was a veteran of the Civil War, having enlisted from Geneva in the 148th New York Volunteers. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Henry and Joseph, of Penn Yan; four daughters, Mrs. Michael Roche, Mrs. James Robinson and Miss Kathleen Magee all of Penn Yan, and Mrs. William Gurnett, of Watkins. The funeral will be held Friday morning at St. Michael's church, with burial in St. Michael's cemetery.

STEPHEN MAHAN - Penn Yan. Dec. 29 - Stephen Mahan, 78 years old, died at his home in Ogden street,  Sunday after one week's illness. He leaves a brother, William, of Geneva. Funeral services will be held Tuesday from St. Michael's Church. Interment will be made in St. Michael's cemetery.

Mrs. William F.  Mahan - The death of Mrs.  [Johanna]  William F. Mahan occurred at her home, 161 Williams Street after a long illness.  She is survived by her husband, William Mahan, four sons: Joseph Mahan, of Rochester; Thomas Mahan of Penn Yan; and William and Stephen Mahan of this city; two daughters, Miss Margaret of this city and Mrs. Lewis Heffron of Canandaigua, two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Kerioul of Pulaski, Michigan and Mrs. Margaret Kelly of Rochester, and twenty-two grand children.  The funeral announcements will be made later.

Peter Murphy- Penn Yan, March 6   -  Peter Murphy died at his home on Menell street Friday, March 2nd. Funeral services were held from St. Michael's church this morning at 8 o'clock. Burial in St. Michael's cemetery. He is survived by his wife and one brother, Martin Murphy of Penn Yan.

Mrs. Mary Magee - Penn Yan, Oct. 5 - Mrs. Mary Magee, aged 80 years, died on Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James L. Robinson in Chapel street. She was born at Ovid, Seneca County, and had lived in this village for the past 23 years. 

She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Anna Gurnnett of Rochester, Mrs Sarah Roche, Mrs. James L. Robinson and Mrs. George Wood of Penn Yan; two sons, Henry S. and Joseph G. Magee, both of this village and one sister, Miss Julia Savage of Mt. Kisco, N. Y. Funeral Wednesday, at 9 o'clock at St Michael's Church.

WILLIAM F. MAHAN -  Geneva -  Dec 23 - William F Mahan, one of the oldest Civil War veterans of the city, died last night.  He leaves four sons: Joseph Mahan of Rochester, | Thomas Mahan of Penn Tan. William and Stephen Mahan of Geneva, and two daughters, Mrs. Linus Hefferon of Hopewell and Miss Margaret Mahan, of Geneva.

Funeral of Stephen Mahan - The funeral of Stephen C. Mahan of 125 Hillcrest avenue, who died Monday, was held this morning at 8:30 o'clock from his late home and 9 o'clock at St. Stephen's church with Solemn Requiem Mass. The celebrant was the Rev. William O'Brien of St. Francis de Sales parish with the Rev. Andrew Dissett of Lyons as deacon and the Rev. Daniel Fraher of St. Stephen's as sub-deacon..

The Rev, Raymond Nolan acted as master of ceremonies and the Rev. Edward Ball was in the sanctuary.  The bearers were John, Charles, Donald and Bernard Mahan, Gerald and Linus Heffemon.                      [look for an obit more about deceased rather than church staff]
