I have found in some cases, for this cemetery listing that the dates of death from the original cemetery list I used by the town, MAY BE the date of burial, rather than the date of death.  I did further research of newspapers, for correct dates of death.  If dates not in blue, then you should further check for the actual date of death, usually a variance of a few days.

This cemetery developed in 1870's from the farm of Clinton & Lucinda Rapalee. They had buried a young son at the top of the hill in 1862, but this plot is not part of the current cemetery and is on private property.

Later, many prior burials from Barrington& Starkey were moved to this cemetery and in 1908 a cemetery association took over the cemetery. In 1927, the village of Dundee assumed maintenance and ownership of this cemetery.  This is still an active cemetery.

Sends Bullet Into His Brain - Body Falls Upon Wife's Grave -  Bush Pulver, Former Dundee Resident, Walks to Grave of Wife to End His Life - Health Had Been Failing - Was Expecting Operation

Dundee - April 7 - Bush Pulver, a former resident of  this village, short himself about 11 a.m. Friday morning.  He went to Hillside cemetery at the west end of the village, and standing by his wife's grave, discharged the gun at his temple and fell over her grave.

John Miller of Dundee, had walked to the grave to where his wife had been buried a few weeks ago and saw the man lying across the grave.

He went to a field nearby where Delmar Ketchum was working, and called him over.  The found the man had not been dead long. Mr. Ketchum recalled hearing a shot, about ten minutes before, but paid no attention, thinking someone was shooting crows.  Mr. Miller went to the office of Dr. James P. McDowell, coroner and they returned to the cemetery.  An examination showed that the man had shot himself in the temple.  Papers identified him as Bush PulverWilliam Lord of London street, a cousin, was notified and later a brother, Talmadge Pulver, of Fergusons Corners, was called.

Mr. Pulver was 71 years of age and had passed most of his life here and had passed most of his life here.  When a young man he worked at the John Rapalee mills.  Later, he was a meat cutter, in the Lewis Green market and also in the Taylor Brower market.  His wife conducted a millinery store. About 15 years ago the moved to Troopsburg, NY, and then later to Painted Post where they lived until the death of Mrs. Pulver, in 1915.  Mr. Pulver kept his home there until about two years ago, when he sold it and had since been boarding there.  He came back here in early Spring and had been staying with hs brother, at Fergusons's Corners and two weeks ago, came to visit William Lord and Elmer Rapalee.

He had been in poor health and recently a physician told him he must have an operation.  Friday morning, he told Mrs. Lord that he knew he would never come out of the operation.  She asked him where he would go to have it and he answered in rather a vague way, that it might be at Elmira, Corning or Geneva.  He said he was going to stay for awhile with a cousin in Milo, and started out, but before he went, he told Mrs. Lord, what he wanted done with some things, if he had the operation and he said the rest of belongings, she could dispose of as she was not aware that he had started for his cousins, thinking he was perhaps, going uptown first, but he went directly to the cemetery and within a half hour, after he left the house, word was brought to them, of his suicide.

She then looked into his room and found that he had not taken any overcoat or packed anything for his visit that he had told her that he was to have made, he evidently had the plans for ending his life already made.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.  Burial will be in the local cemetery.
