I have found in some cases, for this cemetery listing that the dates of death from the original cemetery list I used by the town, MAY BE the date of burial, rather than the date of death.  I did further research of newspapers, for correct dates of death.  If dates not in blue, then you should further check for the actual date of death, usually a variance of a few days.

This cemetery developed in 1870's from the farm of Clinton & Lucinda Rapalee. They had buried a young son at the top of the hill in 1862, but this plot is not part of the current cemetery and is on private property.

 Later, many prior burials from Barrington & Starkey were moved to this cemetery and in 1908 a cemetery association took over the cemetery.  In 1927, the village of Dundee assumed maintenance and ownership of this cemetery.  This is still an active cemetery.

BELLIS - In Barrington, August 17, 1913, Bert Bellis, aged 56 years. He was born in the town of Barrington and had always lived there. For the past few years he had lived alone, since the death of his mother. 

He leaves three brothers, Martin and Omar Bellis, of Barrington, and Frank, of Penn Yan. Burial was made in Hillside cemetery, Dundee.

Lakemont Man Is Arrested - Ray Ackerson Held on Charge of Burglary - DUNDEE, May 10 - Ray Ackerson of Lakemont was brought before  Justice of the Peace,  Ernest Sproul of this village, Wednesday afternoon. He had been arrested by state troopers. Saturday evening. It is alleged he had broken into the house of Roscoe Wilson at Lakemont while the family was away, taking food from the home. 

His arrest was on the charge of burglary in the third degree. He admitted the facts of the case before the Justice and having no bonds was taken to the county Jail to await the action of the grand jury.

In January, Ackerson was released from Auburn prison where he had been serving a sentence for forgery, having forged John Chadwlck's name to a check.  Ackerson has always lived in this section.

GRAND JURY TO HEAR CASE OF RAY ACKERSON - Penn Yan, May 11 - Ray Ackerson, 50, of Lakemont, is being held for the grand Jury which will convene to this village on May 27th, following his arrest by State Troopers Steeley and Nesbit, on a warrant sworn out by C.A. Wixon, of Lakemont, charging burglary, third degree. Complaints had been made that Ackerson had broken into several houses and taken foodstuffs.

Ackerson was arraigned before Justice Sproul, where he waived examination and was held for the grand jury. It is stated by officers that he has a record, having served time in Auburn State's prison, escaping from that institution and being caught and returned to finish his sentence. He was released from Auburn in January.

Mrs. Dennis Beam - DUNDEE, May 16 - Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Beam, 71, were held at her late home on Harpending avenue Monday afternoon with the Rev. Herbert E. Erway of the Dundee Methodist Episcopal Church officiating. Burial was in Hillside cemetery, Dundee.

Mrs. Beam's death occurred Friday evening , at the home of her step-daughter, Mrs. Frederick G. Lyon at Naples, where she had gone for a visit. Although she had been in falling health for many years, her death was unexpected.

Mrs. Beam was born June 14, 1861 in this village where she had spent most of her life. Her maiden name was Edith Swarts. Her husband, Dennis Beam, died several months ago. She is survived by her step-daughter, Mrs. Lyon and one sister, Mrs. Emma Rapalee of this village.
