The Catherine Carroll house and lot and the vacant lot opposite the schoolhouse has been bought by William H. Millspaugh, a wealthy manufacturer of Cleveland, 0., who has given it to the Branchport Cemetery Association. Both properties lie in front of the cemetery on either side of the entrance. The vacant lot is to be graded and laid out in lots and the house used for the use of a caretaker eventually, or rental for the present.     Mr. Millspaugh grew to young manhood in Branchport. The incorporation papers of the cemetery in 1864 and 1869 were sworn to before Mr. Millspaugh's father,  as justice of the peace.
