* "Notation from Lane Cemetery list created by Co. Historian: "George Lane appears only on the 1830 Barrington Census. He was in the right neighborhood to have had a family plot here, but never purchased any land. The cemetery reading was submitted by Wilfred Knapp, a town historian. It was stated that there were other stones either standing or laying flat, all without inscription".
