and three sisters, Mrs. Eliza Farr, of Belmont; Mrs. Alice Simons of Bolivar, and
Mrs. Gertrude Cunningham of Hornell. Belmont and Bolivar are in
Allegheny Co.

.... are all the same. It comes from the Dutch work SPRAQUE (SPRAK).

They were protestant Dutch who went to England because the Catholic Armada had inherited Holland and were
under Spanish Rule. The Inquisition being in power, made it dangerous and the Dutch being traders with the English Wool trade just crossed the channel.
