Had sons Walcott A. and Smith P. plus 2 who moved to MN, one in IL and
one in Gouverneur by 1880. |

Tilden and was an early settler in Moira. His company was captured at
French's Mills (ie Ft. Covington) in 1812 and sent to Montreal as
prisoners. Lived in Moira in 1810 -1830 and probably died in about
1838. Wife Sally d. May 5, 1848 ae 65 and is buried in Moira. May have
had a son Horace Tilden living in Moira in 1840 |
