(Potter) Ellsworth. Moved to Ft. Covington by 1810. Married Polly
Winn (born in MA about 1787) March 1,
1807 in Rockingham VT. Still lived in Ft. Covington in 1850. He was a
brother of Sullivan Ellsworth and joined at French�s Mills (Ft.
Covington). According to Hurd, their children were: Chandler
(1808) married Sally Ordway (1811) and had children Lovina, Pamelia,
Hannibal, Louisa and Sidney, Allen
(1811-1899) married Nancy Hutchins and had children Sheldon, Nancy,
Addison, Mary and George H., Alpheus
(1816-1900) married Adeline Longley and had children Henry and
Euceba,Curtis (1818- 1897) married Mary Cook and had children Oscar,
Alice, Estella, and Addie, Mary, Orilla,
Allena. Orange died July 4, 1852, and his
wife Feb. 2, 1874. They are both buried at Westville |

in Malone on February 20, 1815. Lived in Constable in 1820 and may
have been the Jonathan Esterbrooks living in Malone in 1830 and in
Duane in 1840 and possibly Bellmont later. |

in about 1792 in NH and died January 12, 1878 in Moira. His first wife
, Sally Cogswell,
had died in 1839 ae 48. He then married Lucy
Whitney in Moira on September 29,
1839. When the rest of Tilden's company was taken prisoner at French�s
Mills (Ft. Covington) he happened to be absent on parole. Lucy was
born about 1800 in Vermont and d. in 1891. In the 1860 census of
Moira, a 5 year old boy Lewis Farnsworth was living with them. |
