admin THE WILKESON FAMILY. The founder of the American branch of the Wilkeson family was John Wilkeson, who, with his wife, Mary Robinson, came to this country in 1760, and settled in Delaware. Upon the outbreak of the Revolutionary War, John Wilkeson entered the Patriot army with the commission of Lieutenant, and served until the end of the war.
